Ingredients :
For marination :
1. Mutton- 350 gms
2. CUrd- 3 tbsp
3. Lime Juice -1 Slice
4. Ginger-Garlic Paste- 1 tbsp
5. Coriander Powder-1tbsp
6. redchili powder- 1 &1/2 tsp
7. turmeric powder- ½ tsp
8. garam masala powder- ½ tsp
9. salt – 1/2 tsp
Other Ingredients:
1. basmati rice – 1.5 cup
2, oil – 3 tbsp
4. Ghee – 1 tbsp
5. cloves – 4
6. cardamom – 4
7. cinnamon stick – 2”
8. bay leaf (small) – 4
9. handful of mint leaves and fresh coriander
10. green chili – 4 to 5
11. 1 large onion, chopped
12. 2 medium tomato, chopped
13. Salt to taste
Boneless mutton biryani recipe/ mutton biryani in pressure cooker recipe instructions with step by step photo:
1. Firstly, marinate mutton with all the ingredients under marination for minute
2. Keep it 1 hr on the fridge or overnight in the refrigerator
3. Rinse and soak rice for 30 min
4. Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker.
5. Add cloves cardamom, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf and saute for 30 sec
6. Add onion and saute well till transulent.
7. Now, add mint leaves, green chili and saute for 1 min
8. Add tomato and cook till soft
9. Now, add marinated mutton and cook for 5minutes.
10. Add taste to salt and coriander, mix well cook another 2 minutes
11. Add(2 1/4 cups) to cook rice and let boil for 2 minutes
12. Add soaked & strained rice, and mix everything well.
13. Pressure cook for 3 whistles on medium flame
14. Release the pressure and Fluff the biryani gently using a fork
15. Finally serve hot with raita or gravy’s
