These potato lollipops are very easy to make.just mix all the ingredients and shape them like a ball ,dip them in bread crumbs and maida slury and deep fry till golden brown and crisp.

Ingredients :
1. boiled & smashed potatoes -1 cup(2 large)
2. breadcrumbs -1&1/2 cup
3. onion – 1
4. green chillies – 2
5. coriander – 2 tablespoon
6. turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon
7. chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
8. cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
9. coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon
10. salt – 1 teasppon
11.chat masala – 1 teaspoon
12. ginger garlic paste -1/2 teaspoon
13. lemon – half slice
14. all purpose flour – 1 talespoon
15. water as required
How to make potato lollipops recipe instructions with step by step photo :
1) In a large bowl add grated potato, breadcrumbs,chopped onions,green chillies,turmeric,chilli powder,cumin powder, coriander powder,salt,chat masala,ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves ,lemon juice .
2) Mix them nicely to form a firm dough.
3) Make small size of smooth and crack free balls .
4) In a small bowl take all purpose flour and add little water at a time and make a runny, smooth slurry and in a small plate take breadcrumbs, and keep it aside.
5) Now take potato balls dip them in slurry.
6) Take them out and roll them in bread crumbs.
7) Now roll each ball between your palms so that bread crumbs sticks properly and don’t come out while frying.
8) Now drops the balls into the heated oil and fry them till golden brown.
9 ) Drain the potato balls into the kitchen paper .
10) Now insert the toothpicks and serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Notes:
1. Boil potatoes and cool them at room temperature before making lollipops
2. Don’t mash them with hands, grate them. It’s easy
3. Make your own fresh bread crumbs. Just break bread in small pieces and grind them in grinder
4. Deep fry them at medium heat
5. Fry one potato ball first. If it cracks open mix some more bread crumbs and fry them again
6. Add few potato balls at a time while frying.
7. spices adjust according to your taste
8. you can add dry mango powder/amchure powder instead of chat masala
